Writing, Coffee and Conversation Group
Let’s get together, tap into our creativity and discover more about ourselves through poetry, self-reflective writing activities and conversation. Research over the last 30 years has found links between writing, health and wellbeing.
The emphasis of this group is on self-discovery and self-improvement.
Charmaine Pollard a qualified poetry therapist will lead you through various self- reflective, creative and expressive writing exercises and we will use them as the basis for discussion and further exploration.
No prior knowledge of poetry, self- reflective writing or expressive writing is required, just a willingness to connect, reflect and experiment with words in a supportive environment.
About Charmaine Pollard
Charmaine Pollard is an experienced Certified Poetry Therapist, Counsellor and Life Coach with a passion for leading writing and poetry therapy workshops with a particular focus on self-awareness, confidence and resilience.
Her fusion of contemporary coaching combined with poetry therapy techniques have helped people from all walks of life, find self- compassion, contentment and success.
We’ll meet at least once a month in selected bespoke cafés and places of interest throughout Central London which the group will decide on.
Our first couple of group meetings will be on: Friday 3rd November 2017 and Fri 1st December 2017 at The Poetry Café and then in the New Year at selected bespoke cafés and places of interest throughout Central London. To get us started, we will use the venues to inspire our writing.
